Friends of Hall Street Green

At the moment (March 2010) we have set up a committee, asked neighbours  for their views and what they want from the green, had several meetings with parks department and groups who have pledged support, and we have applied for grants.

We have asked for funding for a noticeboard so we can advertise our work and promote our sponsors.

Our immediate plans are to have a task day and paint the railings, do some planting and put up nest boxes. We have also asked the Council to install general waste bins.
